In English for Academic Purposes you will take the role as a first-year student studying at a typical Australian university. You will meet a number of friends there and work together as an informal study group. Your learning is structured around the different places and activities that you and your friends would be involved with at this university, and include attending a lecture, visiting the library, and socialising in the cafe.

Each topic you will come across will provide a diversity of opportunities to learn and practise your listening, speaking, reading, writing and study skills, all in an academic context.
